Larry, Moe & Shemp filmed a TV pilot on October 12th, in 1949 for ABC. The show was Jerks Of All Trades and was never broadcast and the series never materialized due to some contract issues between The Boys and Columbia. At that time studios and TV networks did not work together as they do today. Rather, the studios were concerned about what impact this new medium would have on their theater audiences.
As we know, television propelled The Three Stooges to new heights of popularity when their shorts were eventually released to TV just 10 year later.
