ShopKnuckleheads: On This Day in History

News today from ShopKnuckleheads- That's right, we have another day in Stooge history for ya knuckleheads!

'Three Missing Links' was released today, July 29th in 1938, and is Jules White’s first directorial effort with The Three Stooges shorts. Until now he had been the producer, a role that would continue but with many more shorts also directed by White.

Supporting player Jane Hamilton, pictured here with The Boys, made her only appearance with The Three Stooges in this short. She was a Goldwyn Girl in the 1930’s, worked as a model at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, California and for the Red Cross during World War II.

Jane was an original founder of The Colleagues, a non-profit small group of women established in 1950 that raises funds for the Children’s Institute, Inc. in Los Angeles.
